Implements and provides recreational and leisure time activities for students that develops character and enhances personal and social growth. Compiles student evaluation records to indicate progress of the student.
Operates GSA
vehicles
in a proper and safe manner including a 44-passenger bus.
Supervises, demonstrates and instructs students/trainees in on/off-center leisure time activities.
Implements and provides recreational and leisure time activities.
Compiles records and files reflecting the participation of students in center activities.
Assures records and files reflecting the participation of students in center activities are completed.
Maintains accurate inventory by utilizing check-in/check-out system of recreational equipment.
Oversees on- and off-center activities to enforce rules and maintain order.
Acts as a positive role model and promotes positive social skills.
Implements and oversees program components related to specific activities such as weight training program, intramural sports program, and creative arts.
High School Diploma. No experience required.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
Must obtain within 180 days of employment a Class B CDL with passenger endorcement, CPR and First Aid Certification.
Lifeguard Certification preferred.
