Loan Portfolio Assistant

Documents consumer and commercial loan closings, including collateral filings, research loan accounts and relay information to clients, and assist clients in completing necessary paperwork.
Researches loan account history on clients and relays accurate information to the Portfolio Manager to assist in the loan closing process. Interviews client to obtain personal and financial data and fills out application. Records loan information in log and post in Portfolio software. Compiles and types closing documents. Assembles documents for delivery to necessary agencies for filings. Assist with questions regarding closing requirements. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Associate's degree from 2-year college or technical school; or two years (60 credit hours) coursework from 4-year college or university; or three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
An additional three years experience in a related field.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Detail oriented and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
