Prices goods and services in order to stay competitve in the market. Maintains historical pricing data on the organization and its competitors. Gathers, details, and compiles data to estimate all production costs according to specifications. Estimates merchandise overhead and develops ways to reduce costs according to specifications. Analyzes historical cost data in order to provide more accurate cost estimates. Communicates pricing information to associates. Performs research to provide technical advice and management advisory services to vendors. Computes cost factors and assists in preparing bids and determining cost effectiveness. Identifies and instructs vendors on how to improve estimating, cost control, and planning. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
An additional five years experience in a related field.
COMPUTER SKILLS
An individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Prefer CPA.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
