Monitors and evaluates area JOM Programs, provides technical assistance to school administrators and parent communities, and assists in the development of workshops, conference and community meetings for JOM administrators, parents and personnel.
Provides technical assistance to local school administrators, JOM personnel and parent committees on all facets of JOM programming in order to effectively assist them in developing and carrying out programs for Indian children in compliance with JOM rules and regulations. Prepares written position papers on new projects to be implemented by the JOM program and prepares articles for the program and prepares articles for the program newsletter. Monitors and evaluates local JOM Programs for compliance with their stated project objectives as submitted to the JOM Program. Maintains all JOM field records related to parent meetings, equipment and prepares field reports on JOM programs, inventory listings and other program related matters requiring documentation on assigned schools. Assists schools in preparing accurate data and reports on eligible JOM students. Participates in one summer program annually. Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Education; no substitutions. Should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
