Responsible for all aspects of the Head Start/Early Head Start Department of Health and Human Services Program performance requirements including ongoing assessment of program activities, sound Early Childhood practices, classroom operations, staffing and integration of all Head Start content areas.
Documents progress of all the Head Start/Early Head Start content areas and maintains records on center operations and staff. Assures integration of content areas with appropriate agencies, programs and committees. Attends training to further knowledge of content areas. Staffs with other staff to assure most recent and updated information is available. Responsible for assuring and assessing the need for CDA and Early Childhood Certification for all staff. Must assure training is completed within a specified span of time. Must stay current of all new rules and changes for the two programs. Plans, coordinates and integrates all content areas within the Head Start Program for individual centers and Home Visitors. Provides ongoing training for all Head Start teaching staff through inservice workshops and working with staff in the classroom. Performs required number of site visits monthly and submits a written report of each visit to immediate supervisor weekly.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 20 to 30 employees in the Head Start and Early Head Start. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Associate's degree in Child Development, Liberal Arts or General Studies from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. May include two years or more of undergraduate college coursework.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
An additional three to five years of experience working in some type of childcare environment is required. Head Start experience is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. CDA credential and/or State Teacher Certification in Early Childhood is preferred.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Some knowledge of computers, training resources, basic clerical skills and adult learning styles.

Contingent upon funding availability Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
